º La condecoración "Medalla del Departamento Administrativo de Seguridad en el grado de "Acción Distinguida de Valor" consistirá en un sol radiante dorado, cuyo centro ostenta el escudo de armas del Departamento Administrativo de Seguridad, esmaltado al fuego y pendiente de una cinta de fondo azul celeste y blanco. En la mitad de la cinta llevará una franja vertical con el tricolor nacional.
