Los titulares de licencias para funcionamiento de servicios de radiodifusión, y los Directores de programas informativos o periodísticos, están obligados a transmitir gratuitamente y sin comentarios, en la programación siguiente al recibo de la solicitud, las rectificaciones o aclaraciones a que dieren lugar las noticias, comentarios, conferencias o discursos transmitidos, y que las personas afectadas consideren injuriosos, calumniosos o inexactos. Tal transmisión deberá hacerse a la misma hora en que se transmitió la que dio lugar a la aclaración.
