Art. 20. El auto para mejor proveer, interrumpe el termino de sentencia, tan solo hasta por veinte días, más el termino de sentenciar, tan solo hasta por veinte días, más el termino doble de la distancia, cuando la diligencia haya de practicarse fuera del lugar del juicio. Las contrapruebas de que habla el artículo 163 de la Ley 105 de 1890 , se practicara dentro del término de que habla este artículo.
