°. Pasaporte oficial con zona de lectura mecánica . Esta libreta la expide el Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores, a través de la Dirección de Asuntos Migratorios Consulares y Servicio al Ciudadano, la oficina que haga sus veces o la sustituya. Consta de veintiocho (28) páginas, su expedición y vigencia se regirá por lo dispuesto en el Decreto 2877 de 2001 y aquellas normas que lo sustituyan, modifiquen o deroguen.

Parágrafo

Los ciudadanos que reciban un pasaporte oficial en virtud de una comisión oficial de acuerdo a lo establecido en el Decreto 2877 de 2001, y que sean titulares de pasaporte ordinario o ejecutivo vigente, no tendrán que cancelarlo.
