El daño que un buque causare á otro será indemnizado por el respectivo dueño, ó por el Capitán, solidariamente, excepto en los casos fortuitos, no estimándose por tales el mal manejo del timón, ni el impulso comunicado por la máquina de vapor, el efecto de las corrientes ni otro semejante.
