La designación de Registradores Distritales no podrá recaer en quienes hayan sido elegidos para cargo de elección popular, o hubieren actuado como miembros de directorio político en los dos (2) años anteriores a su designación, o sean parientes ellos o sus cónyuges del Registrador Nacional del Estado Civil o de alguno de los Magistrados de la Corte Electoral hasta el cuarto grado civil de consanguinidad o segundo de afinidad.
