Se entiende por falta temporal, aquella circunstancia accidental u ordinaria que separe al juez de paz por un breve lapso de su cargo. Caso en el cual las partes podrán acudir a un juez de paz de reconsideración según lo establecido en el artículo 11 inciso 5. De no existir éstos, podrán acudir a otro juez de paz que de común acuerdo determinen o esperar hasta tanto el juez de paz de la circunscripción se reintegre a su cargo.
