A los que se batieren en duelo con intervención de padrinos que arreglen las condiciones del desafío, se les impondrá: 1°. Arresto de uno a seis meses si no resultare lesión alguna. 2°. Arresto de dos meses a dos años cuando se infieran lesiones personales; y 3°. Prisión de uno a cinco años en caso de muerte.
