El Gobierno de la República erigirá en la plaza principal de la ciudad del Socorro, cuando el Tesoro Nacional lo permita, una estatua de la heroína Antonia Santos, con esta inscripción en el pedestal:

La República de Colombia

A Antonia Santos

28 de julio de 1919

Ley 17 de 1918

Asímismo, y en iguales condiciones, hará levantar en la capital colombiana, en el lugar que el designe, un monumento que perpetúe la memoria de esta heroína.

Las partidas necesarias para el cumplimiento de esta Ley se consideraran incluidas en los Presupuestos correspondientes.
