Pueden nombrarse varios secuestres cuando los bienes sea muchos o estén situados en distintos lugares.

También se nombrará curador o síndico de los bienes del concurso, y previa caución de desempeñar cumplidamente el cargo, se le discernirá y se lo autorizará para ejercerlo.
