Departamento General de Establecimientos de Detención, Pena y Medidas de Seguridad. - Este Departamento tendrá a su cargo las funciones que actualmente desempeña la Dirección General de Prisiones, en especial de las que para ésta asigna el Decreto 1405 de 1934, así como todas aquellas que posteriormente le sean señaladas por el Ministro, y tendrá el personal y asignaciones siguientes:
