Son funciones de la División de Escalafón:

Organizar el registro del personal del servicio educativo a cargo de la Nación con los datos actualizados sobre escalafón y carrera docente.

Resolver las peticiones y sustanciar los recursos sobre asuntos disciplinarios, de escalafón y carrera docente que correspondan a la Junta Nacional de Escalafón del Ministerio de Educación Nacional.
