Es el acto de obligatorio cumplimiento por el cual el Comandante de la Fuerza respectiva, el Director General de la Policía Nacional, el Director del Inpec o la persona en la que estos deleguen, asigna a un Soldado, Infante de Marina, Soldado de Aviación y Auxiliar de Policía o Auxiliar del Cuerpo de Custodia en forma individual a una nueva unidad o repartición, con el fin de prestar sus servicios en las áreas geográficas que determine cada fuerza, la Policía Nacional o el Inpec.
