Artículo tercero. En caso de emergencia, las aeronaves que realizan tráfico aéreo internacional podrá aterrizar en aeropuertos diferentes a los ya mencionados, debiendo sus tripulantes informar inmediatamente a las autoridades de Aduana más cercana, así como al Departamento Administrativo de Aeronáutica Civil. De comprobarse que el aterrizaje se efectuó sin causa justificada, se aplicarán las sanciones establecidas para el contrabando aéreo.
