Cuando la explotación aluvial se realice por medio de mini-dragas, el aire suministrado para la normal respiración de los buzos debe ser puro (compresor para buceo), evitando la contaminación por gases de combustión emanados del motor de la bomba, con el fin de evitar problemas de intoxicación por gases respirados.
