El distintivo "Herido en acción" se conferirá por resolución de los comandantes de fuerza, a sus respectivos integrantes y se podrá conferir a un mismo miembro, tantas veces como sea herido en acciones diferentes. Las jefaturas de personal de cada una de las fuerzas, llevarán un registro de todos los miembros a quienes se les confiera este distintivo.
