VERACIDAD. La verdad deber ser regla inviolable en el militar y será practicada en todos sus actos. La franqueza respetuosa será la norma del lenguaje hablado o escrito. La gravedad de las faltas contra la verdad, aumenta en relación con el perjuicio que se cause al servicio y con el grado y cargo de quien las cometa. La palabra del militar será siempre expresión auténtica de la verdad.
