Esta Sección tendrá a su cargo el estudio de las enfermedades contagiosas de toda clase de ganados y su tratamiento preventivo y curativo; el examen de los animales de carne alimenticia cuando vayan a ser destazados en establecimientos que exporten sus productos a países donde exigen certificados de inspección, y la inspección de las carnes y de los productos derivados de ellas, preparados en esos mismos establecimientos.
