El Ministerio de Ambiente y Desarrollo Sostenible en coordinación con las Corporaciones Autónomas Regionales y las Corporaciones para el Desarrollo Sostenible, deberán brindar herramientas para capacitar a los funcionarios y/o contratistas cuyas funciones estén relacionadas con la recepción de fauna silvestre, y operativos de control de tráfico y comercio de fauna y flora silvestre, en términos de manipulación, manejo, cuidado y las demás que se consideren para el bienestar de la fauna silvestre.
