El superintendente de instituciones de utilidad común dictara las reglas generales que deben seguir las instituciones en su contabilidad, teniendo ellas la correspondiente libertad en sus métodos accesorios, siempre que esté dentro de dichas reglas generales y permitan apreciar fácilmente su verdadera situación y la naturaleza de las operaciones efectuadas por las instituciones. Para dictar la regla a que hace relación este artículo el superintendente puede ponerse de acuerdo con la contraloría general de la nación.
