º. Los Gobernadores de los Departamentos, como Agentes inmediatos del Poder Ejecutivo, quedan especialmente encargados de hacer cumplir las disposiciones del presente Decreto, ejerciendo para ello las facultades de que se hallan investido como Jefes de la Administración Pública en los Departamentos sometidos á su jurisdicción, conformé á las leyes y decretos vigentes.
