Además de lo indicado anteriormente, toda planta de abastecimiento deberá tener un sistema de hidrantes y monitores para enfriamiento y un mínimo de almacenamiento de agua de contraincendio de 4 horas, de acuerdo con las normas NFPA números 22 y 24. También deberá tener un sistema de inyección y almacenamiento de espuma, en los términos de la Norma NFPA Nº 11.
