De conformidad con lo dispuesto en la Ley 60 de 1993, las mismas funciones y responsabilidades asignadas en este reglamento a los alcaldes distritales y a las secretarías de educación distritales, serán también cumplidas por los alcaldes y secretarías de educación de los municipios que obtengan la certificación que les permita la administración de los recursos del situado fiscal y la prestación del servicio educativo.
