Sin perjuicio de la normal asistencia del proceso o de los procesos por el Ministerio Público, el Procurador General de la Nación y el Procurador General de las Fuerzas Armadas podrán, a iniciativa propia o del Investigador Especial, vigilar la actuación por sí mismos o por intermedio de los funcionarios de su dependencia que crean convenientes.
