Cuando ocurriere el fallecimiento del titular de la estación de Radioaficionado, uno cualquiera de sus segundos operadores, si los hubiere podrá solicitar al Ministerio de Comunicaciones autorización para continuar operando la estación de aquel y utilizando sus distintivos de llamada previo el cumplimiento de los requisitos establecidos en el artículo 11 del presente Decreto. Esta solicitud deberá hacerse dentro de los seis (6) meses siguientes, a la fecha de fallecimiento del titular, vencidos los cuales el Ministerio podrá disponer de los distintivos de llamada.
