Finalidad del Sistema Único de Información del Deporte: El Sistema Único de Información del Deporte permitirá acceder a la información relacionada con los organismos que hacen parte del Sistema Nacional del Deporte, la recreación, la actividad física y el aprovechamiento del tiempo libre y la educación física. Además, Incluirá datos sobre la estructura de los organismos deportivos, la infraestructura deportiva, recreativa, para la actividad física de los atletas y demás datos concernientes al sector con el fin de facilitar la toma de decisiones en materia de políticas públicas.
