Es obligatorio para los médicos veterinarios zootecnistas, losmédicos veterinarios y los zootecnistas, realizar acciones de educación sanitaria, promover campañas para controlar y erradicar enfermedades transmisibles, de impacto social y económico. Así como denunciar ante las autoridades competentes el riesgo generado por los focos o brotes de enfermedades de notificación obligatoria que sean de su conocimiento.
