Si el procesado se presentare dentro de ocho días después de ser requerido y comprobare que estuvo impedido para hacerlo antes, el funcionario respectivo revocará, previo dictamen fiscal, la providencia en que se hubiere ordenado el pago de la caución, y restituirá al procesado a la libertad provisional mediante la ratificación de la caución.
