La presentación para el pago no es necesaria para exigirlo a la persona primeramente obligada en el instrumento; pero si esto fuere, por su texto, pagadero en una plaza especial y aquella persona pudiere y quisiere pagarlo allí a su vencimiento y tuviere fondos disponibles para ello, esta capacidad y voluntad son equivalentes a un ofrecimiento de pago. Salvo disposición en contrario, la presentación para el pago es necesaria para obligar al girador y endosantes
