º Los empleados públicos que se encuentran en la situación prevista en el artículo anterior y que el 31 de diciembre de 1987 tenían cinco o más años de servicio en la respectiva entidad, podrán solicitar su inscripción en la carrera, para lo cual acreditarán su antigüedad a mas tardar el 31 de diciembre de 1988. No tendrán el derecho consagrado en este artículo, quienes desempeñan un empleo para cuyo ejercicio se exija como requisito indispensable poseer el título profesional correspondiente a una carrera determinada, que se encuentre reglamentada por la ley.
