- ASOCIACION DE MUNICIPIOS. Dos o más municipios de uno o más departamentos podrán asociarse para organizar conjuntamente la prestación de servicios públicos, la ejecución de obras o el cumplimiento de funciones administrativas, procurando eficiencia y eficacia en los mismos, así como el desarrollo integral de sus territorios y colaborar mutuamente en la ejecución de obras públicas (Ley 136 de 1994, art. 148).
