Las licencias serán concedidas por la Sala de Gobierno de la Corporación nominadora, o por la entidad o funcionario que haya hecho el nombramiento.

Respecto de los funcionarios designados por las cámaras legislativas, la licencia la concederá en receso de éstas, el Presidente de la República.
