Criterios sobre vivienda popular y pequeña propiedad rural. El respectivo Concejo Municipal, en la fijación de tarifas del impuesto predial y en cumplimiento de lo establecido en la Ley 14 de 1983, tendrá en cuenta las definiciones establecidas en los artículos 49 y 50 del presente Decreto para vivienda popular y pequeña propiedad rural y las zonificaciones hechas por el Departamento Administrativo Nacional de Estadística DANE para las principales zonas urbanas del país, por la respectiva Oficina de Planeación Municipal o Distrital en los planes de desarrollo urbano vigentes, o por las autoridades municipales competentes en donde no exista Oficina de Planeación Municipal.
