Una vez que los Vocales hayan ocupado sus puestos, el Presidente prestará la promesa por su palabra de honor y conforme a su conciencia, de desempeñar fielmente sus funciones. Igual promesa prestará cada uno de los Vocales, después de lo cual el Presidente declarará abierta la audiencia, debiendo éste dictar las providencias convenientes para la seguridad de los reos y la conservación del orden.
