Articulo 16 . El vigilante solo podrá portar armas de fuego amparadas con el respectivo salvoconducto, expedido a la empresa de vigilancia privada; además, deberá portar las credenciales otorgadas por la Dirección de Policía Judicial e Investigación y por la empresa en la cual labore, en la que se acredite como mínimo lo siguiente: Razón social; nombre del vigilante; cedula de ciudadanía; fecha de expedición; fecha. de caducidad; firma, postfirma y sello del representante legal de la empresa, Los carnés que expidan las entidades de vigilancia, a los vigilantes, deberán ser refrendados anualmente y podrán suspenderse cuando no llenen los requisitos que se establecen en el presente Decreto.
