A partir de la promulgación de la presente Ley, el Gobierno procederá a hacer las gestiones tendientes a adquirir en propiedad la casa en la cual se reunieron en Ríonegro (A.), los convencionistas de 1863, para destinarla a un Museo Patriótico, que preferentemente guarde los objetos que pertenecieron al General José María Córdoba, héroe máximo de Ayacucho sacrificado en defensa de las libertades políticas.

Parágrafo

Si el Gobierno no pudiere llegar a un acuerdo con el propietario o propietarios del edificio de que trata esta Ley, respecto al precio equitativo, procederá a su expropiación, la que se llevara a cabo en los términos pertinentes de las leyes.
