La Academia Colombiana de Historia, como entidad netamente cultural, está exenta del impuesto de la renta, patrimonio y sus complementarias, así como de impuesto predial y de valorización sobre los inmuebles que le pertenezcan. Igualmente se declaran libres de impuestos las donaciones y legados que se hagan a su favor.
