Los militares condecorados con la Cruz de "San Mateo", tienen derecho cuando vistan de uniforme a honores y prerrogativas especiales en la forma siguiente: Las guardias de guarnición, las de prevención, las de los buques de guerra, etc., formarán presentarán armas. En los actos y ceremonias oficiales se les designará puesto de preferencia.
