Trabajadores Independientes. Se clasifica como trabajador independiente a aquel que no se encuentre vinculado laboralmente a un empleador, mediante contrato de trabajo o a través de una relación legal y reglamentaria.

Se considerarán como trabajadores independientes aquellos que teniendo un vínculo laboral o legal y reglamentario, además de su salario perciban ingresos como trabajadores independientes.

Para los efectos del sistema de liquidación de aportes que establece la presente Sección, se asimilan a trabajadores independientes los grupos de población subsidiados dentro del Régimen General de Pensión.
