Art. 212. Los Magistrados de la Corte de Cuentas no pueden ser suspensos de su oficio sino por auto que declare haber lugar á formación de causa criminal por delito que merezca pena corporal, previa la suspensión decretada por la Corte Suprema de Justicia, ó de responsabilidad por mal desempeño en el ejercicio de sus funciones, dictado por la misma Corte; ni destituídos del empleo sino por sentencia judicial por las mismas causas.
