º. Vigilancia y control . Corresponde al Instituto Nacional de Vigilancia de Medicamentos y Alimentos, Invima, y a las Direcciones Territoriales de Salud ejercer las actividades de vigilancia y control, la aplicación de las respectivas medidas preventivas o de seguridad e imponer las sanciones que se deriven del incumplimiento de este decreto. Para estos efectos, los productores e importadores mantendrán a disposición de las autoridades sanitarias el sustento técnico correspondiente.
