Las drogas destinadas a los establecimientos de castigo serán adquiridas por medio de contrato por el Médico Inspector de Prisiones, con intervención del Departamento de Prisiones y la sección tercera del Ministerio de Gobierno. Los pedidos serán formulados teniendo en cuenta las indicaciones que se hagan por los médicos y cirujanos dentistas de dichos establecimientos, de acuerdo con las necesidades de éstos.
