Los organismos cooperativos de segundo grado y las instituciones auxiliares de cooperativismo, podrán crear organismos de tercer grado de carácter asociativo, con el fin de unificar la acción de defensa y representación del movimiento nacional e internacional.

Un organismo de tercer grado sólo podrá constituirse con un número no inferior a doce entidades, y en sus estatutos determinará las participación de las entidades del sector cooperativo y la forma de su integración.
