º OBJETO. El objeto general del Fondo de Garantías de Instituciones Financieras consistirá en la protección de la confianza de los depositantes y acreedores en las instituciones financieras inscritas, preservando el equilibrio y la equidad económica e impidiendo injustificados beneficios económicos o de cualquier otra naturaleza de los accionistas y administradores causantes de perjuicios a las instituciones financieras.
