Créase el Comité de SeguridadGLP presidido por el Superintendente de Servicios Públicos Domiciliarios, del cual formarán parte un delegado del Ministerio de Minas y Energía, un delegado de la Comisión de Energía y Gas, un delegado del Superintendente de Industria y Comercio, un delegado del Instituto Colombiano de Normas Técnicas(Icontec), un representante del Consejo de Normas y Calidades, un representante por cada una de las agremiaciones de los distribuidores con una participación en el mercado del GLP mayor al veinte por ciento (20%), otro de los comercializadores mayoristas y otro de los fabricantes de cilindros.
