El Consejo revisará y dará concepto al Ministro del Medio Ambiente sobre los proyectos de normatividad ambiental de carácter nacional, y sobre cualquier otra normatividad que pueda afectar la calidad del ambiente. El Consejo podrá identificar prioridades de formulación, actualización, reglamentación y complementación de la normatividad ambiental nacional.
