Siempre que las entidades del orden nacional requieran información oficial básica de naturaleza diferente a la que se reporta a través del FUT, deberán hacer la solicitud ante el Ministerio del Interior y de Justicia quien convocará al Comité Técnico para que este evalúe la pertinencia y acuerde con la Contaduría General de la Nación la parametrización de la información que se requiera a través del CHIP y la forma de capturarla.
