Adiciónese el artículo 389A a la Ley 599 de 2000 , el cual quedará así: Artículo 389A. Elección ilícita de candidatos. El que sea elegido para un cargo de elección popular estando inhabilitado para desempeñarlo por decisión judicial, disciplinaria o fiscal incurrirá en prisión decuatro (4) a nueve (9) años y multa de doscientos (200) a ochocientos (800) salarios mínimos legales mensuales vigentes.
