º Los fondos de pensiones del Régimen de Ahorro Individual con Solidaridad serán administrados por las Sociedades Administradoras de Fondos de Pensiones y por las Sociedades Administradoras de Fondos de Pensiones y de Cesantía, cuya creación fue autorizada por la Ley 100 de 1993 y la Ley 50 de 1990, respectivamente. Las Sociedades Administradoras de Fondos de Pensiones deberán constituirse bajo la forma de sociedades anónimas o entidades cooperativas y tendrán por objeto exclusivo la administración y manejo de fondos y planes de pensiones del Régimen de Ahorro Individual con Solidaridad, según lo que al efecto dispongan las normas pertinentes.
