Podrán ingresar, también, al Cuerpo Profesional Especial, aunque no reúnan las condiciones de tiempo de servicio y edad determinados en el artículo anterior, los colombianos con título de bachiller clásico, que hayan aprobado satisfactoriamente el Curso de Formación de las Escuelas respectivas y cumplan con los demás requisitos exigidos por el Estatuto de Agentes de la Policía Nacional, y los Agentes Profesionales que acrediten haber obtenido dicho título de bachiller.
